Sigma Alpha Epsilon Service
Sigma Alpha Epsilon is proud to announce they have accumulated over 1700 hours of community service, the highest amount in ΣAE history and 3rd highest ever in IFC, in the past 2010 spring semester. They were given the Silver Achievement Award for their generous amounts of labor and service to the Waco community.Sigma Alpha Epsilon teamed up with Kappa Kappa Gamma to host their annual Swing-A-Thon, which raised over $1000, all of which benefited Operation Re-hydration. Operation Re-hydration is a Waco based service organization which provides clean drinking water and Pedialite pills to diseased children in Lesotho, Africa. In total, ΣAE was able to save an estimated 3000 children's lives.
ΣAE also hosted it's 3rd Annual Salsa Fest. All the proceeds went to the Children's Miracle Network. Pictures of the event can be seen online in the "pictures" section of our website.
Finally, ΣAE worked countless hours serving at the Waco Boys and Girls Club of America. By working on construction on the new playground, playing with the kids, or even serving snacks, ΣAE hopes to make an impact on the young children's lives at the Boys and Girls Club.
