Why Sigma Alpha Epsilon

The Texas Theta chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon was chartered in October of 1858 at Baylor University as the 9th chapter in the nation. ΣAE is the largest fraternity in the nation with over 260,000 initiates. The Texas Theta chapter is very active in the Baylor community participating in intramurals, service, float, Sing, and many other activities associated with the university. The chapter has approximately 75 members. The mission of Sigma Alpha Epsilon is to promote the highest standards of friendship, scholarship, and service for our members based upon the ideals set forth by our Founders and as specifically enunciated in our creed.
